We welcome ALL brands -- from rat bikes to dressers, cheap bikes to expensive, old bikes to new, and from any country, any manufacturer, any marque. Wolf's Head is about riding and -- whatever brand of bike you ride -- you are welcome at the Wolf's Head Rally & Tours.
We've got our first "Day Ride"
scheduled. Saturday, 8:30 a.m. Wally Hackensmith will be
leading a ride from the rally site, through Jay Cooke State Park
(8 miles, 90 curves) then up Hwy 23 to Canal Park in Duluth for
shopping and sight-seeing. See the "calendar"
for more information.

January 23, 2008 --
For Lake Superior Circle
Tour Riders --
There have been some changes to the new 2008 passport requirements. Apparently they've relaxed the requirement because they were so overwhelmed with requests. For Canada and Mexico they've apparently come up with a new "U. S. Passport Card" that one can get for $20. We haven't had time to digest it all but you can read about it at the U.S. Customs and the U.S. Department of State Web sites. Or The U.S. Passport Card Site. If you are planning on joining us for the 2008 Lake Superior Circle Tour you MUST have either a "Passport Card" or a valid U.S. Passport. |

Minnesota's premiere motorcycle rally is more than just a rally - In
addition to the Rally there is also a
leisurely 1,500-mile cruise around Lake Superior, an event that gives
North Shore visitors the chance to experience waterfront vistas, fine
roads, maritime and mining history, and friendly people. Wolf's Head Motorcycle Rally & Tour puts riding first and rallying a close second. The "Wolf's Head Lake Superior Circle Tour" runs five days. About the time the tour is ending, the rally begins at Dunlop Island in Cloquet Minnesota. You don't have to do both as many people come for the tour, then stay for the rally while others just come for the rally events. The tour runs counter-clockwise around Lake Superior and follows the shoreline through Wisconsin, Michigan, Ontario, and Minnesota, with overnight stops in Houghton and Munising, Michigan, and Wawa and Nipigon, Ontario. The pace this year is again relaxed to allow more time for sight seeing and the distance ridden on any day will not exceed 300 miles. Dunlap Island in Cloquet Minnesota, the rally site, is the setting for nightly music, on-site camping, bike rodeos and games, guided day rides, unguided tours, trivia run, a bike show, safety seminars, Wolf Howlin' contests, vendors, and food. The public is welcome at all events, as are families and all brands of bikes. Motorcyclists come from all over the
North America to this family-oriented rally. It is being
promoted through motorcycle clubs and enthusiast magazines across
the U.S., Canada and now in Europe. |

Bike in the shop?
No bike but you just have to go around the lake?

Wolf's Head Motorcycle Rally & Tour is very proud to have been North America's only FIM sanctioned rally/road riding event since 2001! |
