March 26, 2008 - Passport
simplification!! They've now changed the rules so that you
can use a passport, OR a passport card, OR they will now also
accept a valid driver's license AND a birth certificate.
You must have BOTH though. Check out
U.S. Customs
for other combinations of documents that are now allowed.

Tour Riders --
There have been some changes to the
new 2008 passport requirements. Apparently they've relaxed the
requirement because they were so overwhelmed with requests. For
Canada and Mexico they've apparently come up with a new "U. S.
Passport Card" that one can get for $20. We haven't had time to
digest it all but you can read about it at the
U.S. Customs and the
U.S. Department of State
Web sites. Or
The U.S. Passport Card Site.
If you are planning on joining us for the
2008 Lake Superior Circle Tour you MUST have
either a "Passport Card" or a valid U.S.
Passport.

The 2008 Wolf's Head Lake Superior Tour is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist and the Canadian Motorcycle Associations. It is also this year's AMA North Central Region's Road Riding Convention.
